STYLE NOTES #6
MY FAVORITE GARDEN SETTING IN NEW YORK
Ladurée Soho. You’ve probably seen me mention this spot a few times on Instagram, but it really is one of my favorite gardens in the city. I was just there last week for my sister’s wedding shower and was reminded of what a lovely escape it is. Either for afternoon tea and rose macarons (the best!) or for pre-dinner cocktails at the bar, I highly recommend you drop in to experience a little piece of Paris in NYC.
COZY PAJAMA HACK
Anytime someone asks my favorite brand of pajamas, Eberjey always comes to mind. Their short and long Gisele sets are the epitome of classic coziness. But at around $120 a set, they’re pretty pricey considering you’re just going to sleep in them. That’s where Target comes in! Target carries pajama sets that are practically identical in fabric and style, but at a fraction of the cost.
THE ANTI-GLARE GLASSES I WEAR EVERY NIGHT
Experts say you’re supposed to stop looking at electronics an hour before going to sleep to minimize blue light exposure before bed. As much as I try, I always somehow end up sneaking a peak at my phone. So I got a pair The Book Club anti-glare glasses to filter out blue light. I wear them every night and sometimes even during the day if my eyes feel tired. They really make a difference. I have a much easier time falling asleep, plus they take away any added strain on my eyes from staring at a screen all day.
A MUSICAL MUST SEE
My parents had tickets to see My Fair Lady this weekend, so Scott and I decided to wait in the cancellation line in the hopes that we’d be able to get last minute tickets. Best. Decision. Ever. I cannot explain how magical this production was. Truly one of the best musical performances I’ve ever seen. If you’re in New York (or planning on visiting), I urge you to try to see it – it was simply spectacular!
My dress obsession lately.
